We are thrilled to announce that LEAF Lyons has officially onboarded onto the Service Insights on MealConnect (SIMC) platform, becoming the second agency in our network to do so. This exciting milestone took place in July, marking a significant step forward in enhancing our collective efforts to better serve the community.
SIMC, or Service Insights on MealConnect, is a digital intake platform developed by Feeding America, that streamlines data collection across food distribution networks. It provides real-time insights into the individuals we serve and the assistance they need. With this information, we can make more informed decisions and ensure that our community is being served effectively.
By onboarding to SIMC, LEAF Lyons, a critical partner in the Lyons community, are now able to take advantage of the platform’s robust data tools to track service insights, monitor food distribution patterns, and provide more personalized support to their clients. The onboarding process was a collaborative effort between our team and LEAF Lyons’ dedicated staff, and we’re proud of the seamless transition they’ve made to this new system. With their participation, we are closer to our goal of creating a more connected, data-driven network that benefits every agency and individual in need.

The onboarding of LEAF Lyons represents a promising future for our network as more agencies look to join the SIMC initiative. With the power of data at our fingertips, we can better understand the challenges our community faces and work together to overcome them. LEAF Lyons’ leadership in this effort sets an example for others to follow, and we are excited to see the impact this partnership will have.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire LEAF Lyons team for their commitment and dedication to this initiative. Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient network that will continue to provide essential food security services to those who need them most.
