How We Distribute 27,000 Meals a Day
Food Rescue
Food rescue does just what the name suggests: we save fresh and edible food from going to landfills. Every year, Community Food Share collects thousands of pounds of produce, dairy, meat, bakery and grocery items from grocery stores and retail partners. We then distribute these products through our hunger relief networks and back into the hands of our neighbors facing food insecurity. Click the button below to learn more about how we work.
Nutritional Focus
Nutrition is the key to our community’s well-being. Community Food Share is dedicated to ensuring access to fresh and healthy food options for individuals and families facing food insecurity, promoting nutrition and well-being within the community.
Food From All Cultures
At Community Food Share, we want to make sure that everyone in our community has access to the foods that mean the most to them, their families, and their cultural backgrounds. Through our food procurement we’re able to make this a reality.
