At Community Food Share, our mission thrives thanks to the collaborative efforts of our Hunger Relief Network. Over 70% of the food we distribute is delivered through a network of 40+ partner agencies across Boulder and Broomfield Counties. These partnerships extend our reach far beyond our physical location, ensuring nutritious food gets to those who need it most in every corner of our community. Our network of partners is the heartbeat of this mission, turning our collective efforts into widespread impact.

Supporting Communities in Need

One of the key partners in this network is the Nederland Food Pantry. Located in a remote area, this pantry serves a community facing unique challenges. As a central hub, Community Food Share provides the pantry with essential food supplies, enabling families in this rural region to access healthy food without enduring long, difficult trips.

Betty Abel, Executive Director of the Nederland Food Pantry, underscores the significance of this partnership:
“I don’t know what we would do without Community Food Share. It’s such a huge help to always have what we need available for our clients. When we suggest something, Community Food Share tries to make it happen.”

This partnership exemplifies Community Food Share’s pivotal role in supporting our partners. Organizations like the Nederland Food Pantry depend on our efforts to meet their community’s food needs, serving as lifelines to their neighbors.

By the Numbers: A Year of Impact

Through our partner agencies last year, we achieved the following:

  • Distributed over 6.6 million meals
  • Nourished over 70,000 individuals

More Than Food: Building Connection

Our Hunger Relief Network is about more than just food—it’s about fostering community connections. By combining the efforts of all partners, we strengthen local bonds and ensure that in times of crisis, neighbors have resources close to home.

Nederland Food Pantry plays an integral role in this network. It serves the Peak to Peak Highway communities, from Ward to Central City, acting as a vital outpost for our mountain neighbors. Together, our 40+ partners support tens of thousands of people across Boulder and Broomfield Counties.

Betty’s words capture the overarching goal of the Hunger Relief Network perfectly:
“We’re here to make sure everyone has access to the food they need.”
