Large-Scale Food & Grocery Rescue Donations

Companies of all types and sizes make an impact in our community by donating their products to Community Food Share. Some companies design and produce food items specifically for donation, while others contribute by offering excess food that would otherwise go unused. Through these meaningful contributions, businesses make a significant difference in the lives of those facing hunger, helping us work towards a hunger-free community for all.

Together, We Can Make a Difference

We cannot serve our neighbors in need without your support. We welcome donations from manufacturers, produce growers, distributors, and community members alike.

If you are a manufacturer, retailer, or farmer interested in partnering with us, please reach out to our Senior Food Resource & Compliance Manager, Dana Van Daele, at dvandaele@communityfoodshare.org.

Dedicated to Safety and Donor Security

Our Commitment to Food Safety

We are food professionals, and we adhere to strict food safety handling procedures among our staff, our fleet, and our facilities. We are regularly inspected by AIB International, Feeding America, the State Department of Health, and the County Health Department. We are also under the jurisdiction of the USDA, FDA, and Colorado Department of Agriculture.

Donor Protection

The federal Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Act of 1996 protects those who donate food in good faith to Community Food Share or other nonprofits from civil or criminal liability should such donated food later cause harm to a recipient.

Additional Ways to Donate Food

Help us grow fruits, vegetables, and herbs — whether it’s in your own garden, at our ‘Community Roots’ farm, or with one of our partners.

Garden Share

Whether you’re an individual or a large food business, you can donate food to Community Food Share. Thanks to our donors, we’re able to distribute enough food to feed a sold-out Ball Arena every single day!

Individual Donations

Physical food drives are a great way to engage your friends, family, school, or company by collecting non-perishable food items to donate to Community Food Share.
