Volunteer as a Group at Community Food Share

We welcome corporate and community groups as large as 30 people. Bring your group of friends or colleagues and invest time in your local community. In addition to fighting hunger, you’ll build team cohesion, boost morale, and increase motivation.

Get Started as a New Volunteer Group

Schedule your group’s shift in our volunteer portal, then get each individual in your group to register for the shift you’ve reserved. Step-by-step instructions:

Step 1: Visit Community Food Share’s group volunteer calendar.

Step 2: As the group’s leader, select the available date and time that you wish to reserve for your group by clicking the purple “Sign Up” button.

  • If you have never registered within our volunteer portal (either as an individual volunteer or on behalf of a group), you will be prompted to fill out a short, one-time registration form.

  • If you are already a registered user in our volunteer portal, you will log into your existing account.

Step 3: Group leaders must specify how many volunteers will attend the shift. If you need to modify this number at any time, please call (303) 652-3663, and ask to speak with a member of the volunteer department.

Step 4: Once you submit your group shift reservation, a member of our volunteer department will follow up via email, with a special registration link for you to share with your group members. This registration link is unique to your group and cannot be accessed from our website or volunteer portal.

  • Each volunteer in your group must register through this registration link so that we know how many individuals to expect. This also allows us to accurately track our volunteers and their donated time. Thank you in advance for your assistance ensuring your teammates register for your group volunteer shift!

Schedule

Group volunteer shifts typically last 2-3 hours on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Evening shifts are available on Tuesdays until 6:30 PM, for groups of up to 12 volunteers.
