Our Onsite Food Pantry: Feeding Families

Community Food Share believes everyone deserves access to nutritious, healthy food — including you. If you or your family need food, you can visit our Feeding Families pantry in Louisville, Colorado. Once per week you can receive free groceries — including fresh produce, milk, and pantry staples.

From the moment you arrive, our staff and volunteers are here to support you. Whether it’s helping you find your kids a great snack or simply being someone to talk to! Lean More about how to enroll and schedule an appointment below.

Our onsite pantry is open: Wednesdays: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Thursdays: 12:00 – 6:00 PM, Fridays: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

How to Enroll

Enrolling is easy! Visit cfs.waitwell.us to sign up as a new shopper. Already enrolled? Reserve your shopping spot up to a week ahead using the same link. Using the reservation system secures you a spot in our virtual pantry line the day of your appointment.

Appointments for Returning Shoppers

If you are a returning shopper at our Feeding Families Onsite Pantry, you can book your next appointment by using the link below. Appointments become available as early as one week prior. If a scheduling conflict arises after booking, we ask that you cancel the appointment at your earliest convenience to allow for another neighbor to use that time.

Feeding Families will close in the event of inclement weather. Please check our Facebook page or call (303) 652-3663 for closure notices. We also close on most national holidays. For a complete list of holiday closures, click learn more.

What to Bring

Before you arrive at Feeding Families, please register yourself if you are first time shopper: https://cfs.waitwell.us/ Using this link, you will be asked to fill out a short, one page enrollment form to sign up for the program. Please come prepared on your first visit with a photo ID, and proof of address in Boulder County or Broomfield County.

Feeding Families offers indoor, in-person shopping on Wednesdays from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Thursdays from 12:00 – 6:00 PM; Fridays from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

You may receive food once a week through the Feeding Families program.

Individuals who choose to visit our pantry are able to select which items they would like to take home based on what we have available that day, including any specialty items we may have in stock that day.

  • Proof of address in Boulder County or Broomfield County
  • Driver’s license
  • State issued photo identification
  • School, university, or college identification card
  • US or foreign passport
  • Matricula consular
  • Temporary Resident Card
  • Alien Registration Receipt or Permanent Resident Card
  • Employment Authorization Card
  • Colorado Temporary Driver’s License

The proof of address should be in your own name and no more than three months old. Here are some options:

  • Utility, phone, or medical bill
  • Lease
  • Insurance documents
  • Bank statements

You may designate one friend or family member to shop on your behalf. We call this person a “Proxy.” Ask a staff member to add your Proxy’s name and date of birth to your account. Your Proxy will need to provide your date of birth when they shop.

The person shopping for you (i.e. your Proxy) will need to provide your name and birthday. Please note that our food bank serves residents of Boulder County and Broomfield County.
