Our warehouse is in the Colorado Technology Center, an office park in Louisville. Address is 650 S. Taylor Avenue, Louisville, CO 80027. For a map, please visit our Contact Us page.

Regular volunteer opportunities are offered on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM.

Volunteer activities continue to operate in accordance with CDC recommendations and social distancing requirements. Please visit our COVID-19 webpage for up-to-date information on our regulations for volunteers.

As always, please cancel your shift if you are experiencing symptoms of illness (including any symptoms associated with COVID-19). Contact the Volunteer Department at (303) 652-3663 so that we can plan accordingly.

No, we do not offer evening or weekend volunteer shifts at this time.

We welcome children 5 years of age and older. Children ages 5-15 must have an adult chaperone with them; we require at least 1 adult for every 3 children. Ages 16+ can volunteer independently.

Yes; however, we cannot accept volunteers under the age of 10 at this time (though we intend to bring back our 5+ age limit in the future). Children ages 10-15 must have an adult chaperone with them; we require at least 1 adult for every 3 children. Due to the pandemic, orientation is no longer required for new volunteers. Individuals who would like to volunteer with us for the first time should follow the instructions on this page, and please watch our volunteer safety video, below, before your first shift.

All volunteers must wear sturdy, closed toe shoes (no sandals). All clothing should be appropriate for working in a warehouse environment. Additionally, during the coronavirus pandemic, all volunteers must come to their shift wearing a mask that covers their mouth and nose.

Yes, we welcome volunteers completing community service for school, church, court, scouts, or food stamps. Please visit our Required Service Hours page for more information.

Sorting, restocking, or repacking food donations so they are ready to be distributed to the individuals and organizations that we serve. You can also help us pull orders for Partner Agencies, load and unload trucks, and do some basic cleaning and organizing of the warehouse. Please call us at (303) 652-3663, or email a member of the volunteer department if you need to cancel. That way, we have enough time to find a volunteer to replace you.

Our weather policy is to close if both the Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley School Districts are closed. If only one district is closed, please call our office at (303) 652-3663. A recording will be posted by 7:30 AM if we are closed. You can also check our website’s homepage or Facebook page.
