The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

Community Food Share provides groceries to individuals and families with limited financial resources in partnership with TEFAP, a federal program. Twice a month, participants fill a cart with fresh produce, milk, and pantry items provided by Community Food Share. Participants may access additional pantry items provided by TEFAP during one of their shopping trips if they have not already received TEFAP items at another program or location.

Participants may choose one location to receive TEFAP food per month.

At Community Food Share in Louisville:

If both the Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley School Districts have closed, then Community Food Share will also close for the day. If only one of the two school districts closes, then we will evaluate the need to close on a case-by-case basis. We may be open in those circumstances with a skeleton crew, and limited services. Whenever possible, we will leave a message on our Facebook page and on our voice mail system letting callers know if we are closed. Call (303) 652-3663. We also provide notification on channels 4, 7 and 9, in the scroll bar at the bottom of the screen that lists snow closures.

The inclement weather policy varies between locations. Please call the appropriate location for details.
