Organize a Fund & Food Drive

Fund and food drives provide vital operating funds and nutritious food for Community Food Share, in addition to raising awareness about food insecurity in Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Please note that donations made to Community Food Share are tax deductible as allowed by law.

Donation Delivery Procedures

Plan and Promote with this Step-By-Step Guide

Step 1: Register your drive using this form.

Step 2: Download our Fund & Food Drive Planning Guide.

  • The guide includes procedures for delivering collected food and collecting monetary donations, helpful planning tools, and marketing resources.

Step 3: Consider collecting funds as part of your food drive; because with $1, we can provide 3 meals.

  • If you walk into a grocery store with $1, you won’t be able to buy much. But when you donate $1 to Community Food Share, we’re able to turn it into three meals! The Fund & Food Drive Planning Guide includes best practices for collecting monetary donations. We will happily track donations and report the grand total upon completion of the drive.

Step 4: Promote your drive!
