Become a Local Leader in the Fight Against Hunger

As a board member at Community Food Share, you will do more than fight hunger (though you’ll do that, too). You’ll find reward in knowing you’re opening doors to more of life’s possibilities for those who need it most.

Our board member application process is currently closed, but openings become available on a rotating basis, so please check back in the future. In the meantime, we encourage you to get involved in other ways — consider volunteering or becoming a corporate partner.

Your Role

This is a “working” board, meaning our members provide strategic and financial direction to the food bank’s leadership team, and they actively participate in fundraising and networking activities. On average, board members commit three hours a month to this volunteer role.

Community Food Share’s board members are also expected to fulfill some specific obligations.

Give Back

Hunger is a reality for one out of every nine people in Boulder and Broomfield Counties. With leaders like you, we can change that statistic.

Build Your Network

As an ambassador for the organization, you gain connections not only in your professional space — you grow your networks in the community at large.

Keep Learning

You have the opportunity to guide an organization from above, leading in a more holistic manner while developing a deeper understanding of business operations.
